Spring School "The Dynkin Classification"
The Algebra Group at Ruhr University introduces the omnipresent Dynkin Classification from five different angles in a spring school at Ruhr University Bochum March 31-April 4, 2025.
No preliminary knowledge of the topics is expected, all interested Master and PhD students and as well PostDocs are invited to actively participate in the lectures and the exercise sessions.

Registration and financial support
- Registrations before February 1 will be given priority consideration.
- We have limited support available for junior participants.
- Please indicate your interest in the registration form.
- Depending on the number of support requests, we might close the support option earlier than February 1.
Workshop Dinner
We plan to organize a school dinner on Tuesday evening. The dinner will be paid by the priority program. More details will be shared in due time.
Venue
The lecture series will take place in building ID on level 04 (not 4 or E4!) in room 471. The coffee breaks will be next door in room 459.
